This course will instruct any shipper, carrier drivers or  warehouse employees involved in the transportation and handling of dangerous goods.

A certificate will be given to each individual who completes successfully the exam administered by the qualified instructor from CPMT of  Québec.

2. WHMIS hazardous material information system at the workplace

WHMIS is a Canada-wide system for protecting the health and safety of workers by facilitating access to information on the hazardous materials used in the workplace. This system consist of tree parts namely material safety data sheets, labels and the worker training program.

This section applies to any person handling or using dangerous materials at workplace.

A certificate will be given to each individual who completes successfully the exam administered by the qualified instructor from CPMT of Québec.

3. Defensive driving course (Canadian Safety Council)

This section applies to any individual driving a commercial vehicle at work.

A certificate from the Canadian Safety Council will be given to each individual who completes the course by the qualified instructor from CPMT of Québec.


4. Operation management for ground transportation and Law 430
 

  • The course will explain Quebec law 430.
  • The course will focus on a filing system needed to update the data for all drivers and equipments for heavy vehicle with Log book and pre-trip inspection guide.
  • We recommend driving practices approved by the Canadian Safety Council for carrier fleet safety code and promote safe driving without vehicle collisions.


This section applies to individuals or enterprises working for ground carriers who are looking for specialised management information in transportation & logistics.
